The $5.99 Target Find I Always Keep Stocked In My Freezer

I hardly (if ever) pass on dessert. I am the type of person who needs to follow up every meal with a little something sweet. However, the one treat that I will usually pass on is frozen yogurt.
As someone who vehemently dislikes yogurt. You will never catch me eating it straight up and I will let you know how bad I think it smells if you open a cup around me. I’m extremely picky when it comes to foods that use yogurt or are yogurt-based. Consequently, I’m even more picky when it comes to frozen yogurt. I want my fro-yo to taste like ice cream (read: not have any of that yogurty tang) and be just as creamy. That “tart” flavor that most frozen yogurts have? Not for me.
Given all my yogurt hang-ups, I’m super hesitant to try any sort of yogurt-based treats. But I’ve found one brand, and specifically one treat, that has changed my mind. Yasso Fudge Chocolate Crunch Bars ($5.99) have completely rocked my world. From the first bite, I knew that these were something I would buy again and again.

Why I Love Yasso Fudge Chocolate Crunch Bars
Yasso describes these bars as “naturally flavored creamy Greek yogurt dipped in crunchy dark chocolatey coating,” and on their website as “fudge flavored frozen Greek yogurt wrapped in a dark chocolatey shell with quinoa crisps.” Truly, this treat delivers.
The frozen Greek yogurt center of these bars is incredibly smooth and creamy (not icy in any way) all while being light on the palate. The “fudge” comes through thanks to the yogurt’s strong chocolate flavor and, a big bonus, they aren't overwhelming tangy or tart, distracting from the chocolatey goodness.
The best part is the coating. The dark chocolate coating on these bars is rich and intense, balancing the sweetness of the Greek yogurt center. It’s thin and snappy with the most amazing texture and is only made better by the crisped quinoa. Think of the coating as sort of a grown-up Crunch bar wrapped around chocolate frozen yogurt.
With warmer months right around the corner, it’s about time for me to head to Target to pick up another box (or two or three) of Yasso Fudge Chocolate Crunch Bars, and you should too.
