A24's 'All Dirt Roads Taste of Salt' Trailer Paints a Loving Picture of Southern Black Family Life

A24 has taken over Hollywood, showing no signs of slowing down and constantly releasing new films with a story to tell. A24's project titled All Dirt Roads Taste of Salt is the latest to arrive, revealing the first trailer for Raven Jackson's directorial debut.

The two-minute clip of All Dirt Roads Taste of Salt paints a profound picture of the rural south, seeing family come together through love and pain. The film explores the ups and downs of Black life through tender storytelling, embracing family, friendship, death, and success. A beautiful sense of change evolves throughout the trailer, starring Charleen McClure, Moses Ingram, Reginald Helms Jr., Zainab Jah, Sheila Atim, and Chris Chalk.

The emotional tale is scheduled to premiere at the 61st annual New York Film Festival later this year. It will bring audiences to tears with emotional non-chronological memories from an independent Black mother.
