Addison Rae's tiiiiiny white bodysuit features soooo much sheer lace
If you're anything like us, your Spotify Wrapped had a new entry this year: none other than Miss Addison Rae.
The TikToker turned pop diva has had a seriously major year that has seen her become besties with Charli XCX, party with Rosalía and release two critically acclaimed singles, as well as featuring on tracks with AG Cook and Charli herself. Yep, we're officially obsessed: it's the glow-up of the century and we can't get enough (stream 'Diet Pepsi'!!).
One thing we didn't see coming was Addison's iconic sense of style which is iconic, eccentric and esoteric in equal parts, channelling both Brittany Murphy and, at times, Bjork.
Don't believe us? This girl has rocked tan lines as a bikini for a magazine cover, channelled Madonna with a canonical velvet bra top, stunned in a see-through soaking wet dress on IG, turned up in her underwear and a tutu at the VMAs *and* rocked the no trousers trend in a see-through bodysuit. Yep, we're obsessed!
Recently, she's taken things to new heights during promo for her latest single 'Aquamarine' and single-handedly revived the mermaidcore trend. Case-in-point: her CFDA Fashion Awards look, which saw her rock head-to-toe Thom Browne featuring a sequin fishtail maxi skirt and *wait for it* a bag in the shape of a shell. Iconic.
Now, she is back on the mermaidcore hype! Stepping out at the iHeartRadio Jingle Ball this week, Addison rocked a tiiiiiny white bodysuit featuring a sweetheart neckline, quarter-length sleeves and gorgeous lace inserts by Chloe paired with a pair of tan high heels with the tiniest of peep toes.
But to keep things on the mermaid theme, she accessorised with a gold and white bag in the shape of a shell and a pair of similarly shell-shaped gold earrings.
