Just minutes before heading to the airport after a relaxing vacation, I realized my beloved and perfectly-working Apple EarPods were missing. Within that same hour of me frantically flipping the hotel room in search for them, Apple had announced its much-rumoured succession to its second-generation AirPods, AirPods Pro. Conspiracy or coincidence?
Either way, the news saved me an impulsive buy for a replacement pair before boarding my four and half-hour flight back home.

Although these game-changing features are definitely worth considering finally making the switch to wireless earphones, I still can’t get over its whopping $329 ticket.
