I bike in these $132 joggers across Toronto on my way to work — here's why I love them
Whether indoors or out, Vuori's latest jogger has provided the comfort I need to go about my day — but there are a few small drawbacks to be mindful of.
Comfort is key for me, but I feel that I’ve outgrown the stage of my life where I look like a human parachute with some seriously baggy pants. I want to look put together, while not limited, especially when I cycle around the city. A pair of joggers is my go-to, and recently I put Vuori’s Kore Jogger to the test.

My review of the Vuori Kore Jogger
I used Vuori’s size chart and “Find my Size” tool to understand what would be the best fit. For reference, I’m a 26-year-old male, who’s six feet tall and about 185 pounds (given how much my mom cooks for Sunday lunch). I typically fit a 33 waist and 32 length. Based on that, Vuori recommended a medium.
They sit comfortably on my waist and just above the ankle, which is ideal for a jogger. I've grappled at times if they could be a bit longer since they ride up quite high when on a bike. Out of curiosity, I adjusted the sizing tool to make me 6'3 (hello, Hinge), and I was surprised I was still recommended a medium.
Vuori does offer a free return label for online purchases, so you can find your way to the right size.
For me, the insulated boxer-brief is comfortable and warm but can run a tad bit tight around the thighs. Personally, I enjoy wearing underwear instead of relying on an insulated boxer-brief. These joggers do provide enough room in that respect, and I can also throw on a pair of long johns underneath. One downside of the boxer-brief is that I can’t layer up with basketball shorts like a true Toronto-manz. However, the boxer-brief is unique to this Jogger, so if you prefer to go without, you can opt for a different Vuori pair.
Overall, I found them to be well tapered to my legs, which includes around the ankles. They also come in four different colours: charcoal, dark oregano, vapor and my (happy) choice of black.
In terms of where I was able to wear the joggers, I found them to be solid for the office, where there is a bit of a casual vibe. They're good for running errands around the city — knowing I'll look presentable no matter who I run into. I feel they also work for a third/fifth date — where you could pitch something a bit more active, like bowling or a nice hike (just make sure you properly vet the person first).
Despite them looking sleek, I wouldn’t feel appropriate wearing these when the attire is more business than casual, such as when I’m working as a Raptors reporter.
In terms of taking on Toronto’s unpredictable weather, I’ve biked in these in the rain on my way to a university course. Was I worried about sitting in soaking-wet pants? Thankfully, not for long, because these joggers dried up within 30 minutes. When exposed to the rain, I found my legs got soaked, but generally, these joggers are very warm — but not so warm that it isn't comfortable to sit in a classroom, getting grilled by my professor.
The biggest takeaway is that even when I’m biking for long periods, I don’t find that I get sweaty and smelly, which lines up with Vuori’s “moisture wicking” and “anti-odour” advertising. It makes these joggers an easy staple in my wardrobe when I’m in a pinch to get out the door.

Of the 150+ reviews on Vuori's site, the Kore Jogger has a 4.4-star rating.
Many praise their comfort, calling them the "most well-made, comfortable joggers [they've] ever owned." They're "amazing quality," writes one reviewer.
The joggers are "equally [as] brilliant" as the brand's Kore Short, according to another shopper. "Like the shorts, [they're] very comfortable."
However, some reviewers had trouble with the jogger's sizing. One user, who stands at 6'2, found the inseam to be too short for both pairs they tried.

Final verdict
These Joggers provide a snug feeling that makes me appreciate them both indoors and out. I’ve been wearing them pretty vigorously for over a month and found no problems with them keeping up with my active lifestyle.
Along with being sleek, they afford me a bit of sluggish behaviour. They don’t wrinkle when I toss them to the side after a long day — a problem I’ve had with Lululemon's ABC Jogger, which retails at a similar price. I find the $132 tag to be a bit steep, but I guess that’s the price for comfort and a name brand that also prides itself on using recycled materials.
