Angelina Jolie's bizarre chin cuff steals the show during appearance with all six children

Angelina Jolie made a unique fashion statement during an appearance at the Eternals film premiere in Los Angeles on Monday night, wearing an eye-catching chin cuff.

The actor, 46, wowed crowds in a taupe coloured Balmain dress, but it was her choice of accessories and her unusual facial jewellery that really turned heads.

As well as various pieces of gold jewellery including a wrist full of bangles adding some glam to her outfit, Jolie also sported a very unusual gold chin cuff.

Making the event a family affair, the Maleficent star was joined on the red carpet by her children, Maddox, 20, Zahara, 16, Shiloh, 15, and 13-year-old twins Vivienne and Knox, who she shares with ex Brad Pitt.

Only son Pax, 17, was not present at the ritzy event.

After making her glamorous appearance at the premiere of the latest Marvel movie, Jolie fans expressed their appreciation for the star on social media.

"She looks like a fine wine. Oh Angelina Jolie," one wrote.

"God is a woman and that is Angelina Jolie," another wrote.

While a third simply commented that the star had "stunned".

While all eyes were on Jolie in her eye-catching billowing gown and bold statement lip cuff, her children also held their own in the sartorial stakes, opting for vintage looks, some borrowed from their mother's wardrobe.

Looking every bit as elegant as her mum, Jolie's daughter Zahara re-wore her mother's Elie Saab Couture dress from the 2014 Oscars.

"My kids are all mixed with vintage, and in my old Oscars dress. We did all vintage and upcycled my old stuff," Jolie told Entertainment Tonight.

Jolie also pointed out that, although her children had not viewed Eternals up to that point, they were not very fond of her costume in the feature.

Though her children were there offering their support to their famous mum, Jolie went on to say that they weren't exactly thrilled about the gold, spandex suit she wears in the film.

"Would you wanna see your mother wearing that?" Jolie posed. "I don't know, they haven't seen the movie, but your mom walks in with a gold spandex outfit and gold hair, they're like, 'What do you do for a living? What are you? Get back in your robe.'"

It isn't the first time Zahara has accompanied her mother on the red carpet recently. A couple of weeks ago the mother/daughter duo attended Variety's Power of Women event together in Beverly Hills, California.

While Jolie wore a long-sleeve brown gown, Zahara wore a white blouse and trouser two-piece accessorised with a wide white belt.

The Oscar-winning actress shares all six children with ex-husband Brad Pitt, 57.
