It’s no mystery that the Internet likes men and cats. Put them together and you’ve got a powerhouse combination destined for viral success.

Over the last few weeks, an overwhelming number of men plus cat websites, Twitter and Instagram accounts have surfaced. These sites have a record- number of followers and commenters. Seriously, people can’t seem to get enough.

While the popularity of these accounts is certainly puzzling, like Man Buns of Disneyland – another hugely popular Instagram account – these outlets reference a softer side of how we typically view men in the media. And, if you also happen to love pictures of cats, it’s win-win.
