Avril Lavigne shows off signature pop-punk style at New York Fashion Week

Avril Lavigne rocked her signature pop-punk style at New York Fashion Week (NYFW).
On Sunday, the "Complicated" singer took to Instagram with two sets of photos showing off her fierce fashion moments from over the weekend.
In the first set of photos, Lavigne ditched her long bob hairstyle and instead flaunted an extra-long, sleek wig. She struck a pose alongside the likes of Janet Jackson, Kesha and fashion designer Christian Siriano.
The star donned a long black leather coat with puffy ruched sleeves, wide-leg pants and a black lace top. Lavigne's makeup featured her iconic smokey eye and sharp black eyeliner.
She captioned the post with heartfelt congratulations to Siriano for 15 years in the fashion industry.
"Congrats on 15 incredible years," she wrote. "Watching the show was a surreal experience and you nailed every detail. You fused together fashion and music seamlessly. Working with you before the event was so easy and the intention you put into every detail was not missed."
For her second Instagram post —which also featured "Misery Business" singer Hayley Williams from Paramore — Lavigne switched back to her natural hair, styled in loose waves. She channelled her inner rockstar sporting an oversized Ozzy Osbourne T-shirt, paired with a long black leather jacket and thigh-high black stiletto boots. For makeup, she opted for a bold black lip liner and her signature cat-eye eyeliner.
"Go hard or go home," she penned alongside the snaps.
In the comment sections of both posts, fans swooned over Lavigne's trademark aesthetic.
"This is honestly one of my favourite looks of yours ever," a fan commented.
Another Instagram user wrote: "Pop-punk princess always serving looks."
"Iconic!" someone chimed in.
"You look incredible," a person added.
"That Ozzy shirt is sick AF!" shared another.
In June, fans praised Lavigne's new style era after she shared a carousel of photos posing in a metallic, black long-sleeve top with her name embroidered on the collar. She paired it with oversized cargo pants with denim patch detailing and white Christian Louboutin stilettos.
"Omg. Shoes!" she quipped in the caption.
"You look amazing. I love how your style is changing but still so on-brand. New era vibes," an Instagram user commented on the post, while another fan added, "Hip, chic, modern style."
"Pop-punk princess 2.0," wrote another.
"You are glowing!" one person shared.
