Ayo Edebiri Paid Homage To An Iconic Julia Roberts Look At The Globes

Ayo Edebiri made her grand return to the Golden Globes last night, attending the 82nd annual ceremony as a nominee for Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Television Series – Musical or Comedy, for her role as Sydney Adamu in hit series The Bear.

Following her win in the same category last year, Edebiri returned to Hollywood’s official 2025 awards season kick-off night after another year on-screen – and in an even more chic look.

Over the last couple of years, Edebiri has balanced her acclaimed performance in The Bear with notable roles in films including Bottoms, Theatre Camp, and Inside Out 2.

Her red carpet appearances during last year’s awards season also stood out, as the star stepped out in looks by Prada, Bottega Veneta, Loewe, and other top designers. Speaking about her collaborative relationship with stylist Danielle Goldberg in a May 2024 interview with Vanity Fair, Edebiri shared, 'We just got kind of vulnerable. I was like, "I feel very sad [because] people are telling me I’m primed to be this and I’m primed to be that, but I don’t feel like it’s being reflected." And Danielle said, "You’re a leading lady, I will dress you as such."'

Edebiri also reflected on the whirlwind of her rapid rise in Hollywood to the outlet, sharing, 'I feel very fortunate and still, I don’t really totally believe it or understand it. It’s special but strange; both a really intense experience but also something that I’m very grateful for.'

This year’s nomination marks another highlight in Edebiri’s blossoming career, as she continues her journey with The Bear, which is set to return for its fourth season.
