It's back, but is there going to be a season four of The Bear?
After a year away, the award winning series The Bear is finally back on our screens for a new season. We're so ready to dive into another series full of Carmy and Sydney (who are FYI, not entering into a romance), and the rest of the crew, as they work together to see if they can make the restaurant profitable.
But despite our excitement, we can't help but wonder if this will be the last time we see the crew working together, or if, hopefully they'll be another series. So is The Bear getting a season four? Here's what we know so far.
Has The Bear season 4 been confirmed?
Ok, so right now The Bear season four has not been *officially confirmed* by FX, who create the show.
However, and this is a big however, following the announcement in November 2023 that season three was officially happening, in March earlier this year both Deadline and Variety reported that numerous sources had confirmed a fourth season is happening, and that seasons three and four were filmed back to back in Chicago.
So while we haven't got the final say from FX, we're crossing our fingers we'll see the team return soon.
Who will star in The Bear season 4?
Though it's not been officially confirmed if the show is going to return, if a fourth season were to go ahead then we can expect some of our favourite cast members to return, including Jeremy Allen White as Carmy, Ayo Edebiri as Sydney, Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Richie, Liza Colón-Zayas as Tina, Abby Elliott as Natalie/Sugar, Lionel Boyce as Marcus, and Matty Matheson as Neil.
When can we expect The Bear season 4 to be released?
If the fourth series is to go ahead then looking at the previous release dates of all three other seasons then we can expect a season four of The Bear to premiere in June 2025.
The first season was released on 23rd June 2022, season two on 22nd June 2023, and now season three has just been released on 26th June.
How can I watch The Bear in the UK?
While we don't know if season four is officially happening, we do know we can watch the first three seasons of The Bear in the UK with a Disney+ subscription.
