Ballerina Farm's Hannah Neeleman Reveals She and Family Are Leaving Utah Farm and Moving to Ireland

Hannah Neeleman and her family ditched the farm and headed to Ireland on "a very big adventure."

The 34-year-old Ballerina Farm founder took to TikTok on Jan. 8 to share that she and her husband Daniel Neeleman moved to Ireland with their eight children so the couple could attend Ballymaloe Cookery School together.

According to the website, the Ballymaloe Cookery School is based in southern Ireland and is "the only cookery school in the world situated on our own extensive, organically certified farm." In the classes, students learn important culinary skills and how to "work in harmony with the landscape around them," which is also in line with Hannah and Daniel's work on Ballerina Farm.

"We will be away for some time which means there has been a lot of packing and organizing to keep things running at the farm while we're away," she explained in the video. Hannah also documented their travels from Utah to New York before they flew across the pond on JetBlue, the airline Daniel's father founded. She also added that her mom joined along on the trip to help with the kids while she and Daniel attended cooking school together.

"We truly could not have made this happen without her," she added in her video.

Hannah then shared that the family later arrived in Ireland on "a very rainy evening" and gave a peek into the cozy cottage she and the family would be living in during their stay.

Hannah also documented the "first day of school for mom and dad" in another TikTok posted on Jan. 9, where the pair showed off their chef's jacket before their first class. Hannah also gave a glimpse into the first few days of her classes, where she learned to make items like Quiche Lorraine and jam.

"Only a few days in and culinary school is teaching me and inspiring me tremendously," she wrote in her caption. "I love creating beautiful food with beautiful ingredients- loving it!"

Hannah and Daniel both work to run the 328-acre Utah property together and sell a variety of natural products online including protein powder, sourdough starters and other items directly from their farm.

In an interview with PEOPLE in October 2024, Hannah opened up about how she and Daniel first started their social media page to help "restaurants around Utah buy direct from farmers" before they went viral and expanded their business nationally.

"I would've never thought that we would be to 10 million followers," she said. "But here we are, and it's fun — it's crazy and fun."

"All of our products come from things that either we love [or] we're missing," she continued. "Or [products] we love and we feel like maybe we can add a different angle and elevate it a little bit."
