Beanie Feldstein is reminiscing about her nearly picture-perfect wedding day.

During her appearance on Late Night with Seth Meyers on Monday, the Lady Bird actress, 30, shared more details about her May 2023 nuptials to her longtime girlfriend, Bonnie-Chance Roberts, which took place at an old summer camp on a lake.

"I was so calm," Feldstein told Meyers as she recalled hand-writing her vows. "I just got to look at her and hear her vows, and it was perfect."

While everything went smoothly during the ceremony except for a little rain, the actress revealed that she had a not-so-perfect encounter with her wife's friend, Abby, while getting ready to stand at the altar.

Feldstein explained to Meyers that the humorous situation occurred after she had finished showering for the ceremony. As she stepped out of the shower and walked over to the nightstand to check the time, she hadn't realized that she had left a few of the cabin curtains open.

"I'm hunched over, butt-naked and I look up like this, like a gremlin in the night, and Bon's friend Abby is standing in the glass door," Feldstein recounted with a laugh. "I've never screamed so hard in my entire life."

She continued; "Because this is the worst way you want anyone to see you, let alone if you're butt-naked on your wedding day. So Abby really gave me fright. But other than that it was perfect."

On the show, Feldstein also shared details about her close friend: actor, and singer Ben Platt, 30, who performed her first dance song at her wedding. She told Meyers that Platt's rendition of "Something in the Way She Moves" by James Taylor created a magical atmosphere.

"It was just Ben's buttery voice, accompanied by James and Bon, and we danced—it was so nice," Feldstein expressed with fondness.

The late-night host also mentioned their mutual friend Sarah Paulson attending the wedding, sharing a picture of the Impeachment star shedding tears during the ceremony.

Feldstein remarked, "When I asked her to be my bridesmaid, she started weeping, in such a sweet way. So obviously, at the wedding, she was just overwhelmed."

On the other hand, Feldstein noted that her mom barely shed a tear, adding a humorous contrast to the emotional moments shared by her friends.

Feldstein and her wife first met in the U.K. in 2018 during pre-production for the movie How to Build a Girl.

The pair announced their engagement in June, sharing photos from the proposal on Instagram. Roberts got down on one knee to pop the question, as they celebrated with friends and family, as well as Feldstein's brother Jonah Hill.

In June the Booksmart star and her new wife talked to Vogue about their Hudson Valley nuptials that took place the previous month, along with the "magical" outfits they wore for the occasion.

“Never in our wildest dreams could we have imagined that we would wear Gucci to our wedding,” Feldstein told the publication at the time.
