Now, I have a few very important questions for you. Are you dreaming of a dark chocolate Christmas? Milk? White? You'll find a little bit of each in the countdowns below (especially the ones from Godiva and Harry & David), plus tried-and-tasted favorites like Sugarfina and Dylan's Candy Bar even throw some sweet and sour candy into the mix. Keep in mind that there are also different tiers of chocolate advent calendars, ranging from affordable, kid-friendly classics to straight-up luxurious selections for adults who enjoy the finer things in life.

Pick your price (countdowns start at $10) and sweetness level, then work your way down this list to find one that catches your eye. And if you want even more options, check out my list of this year's best advent calendars — filled with beauty products, coffee, toys, you name it.

Pull back the cover to reveal 24 doors — each one has a decadent milk, dark or white chocolate tucked inside. Some are straight chocolate, while others are filled with salted caramel, almond crunch and sweet ganache. Psst, refrigerate your chocolates upon arrival, so they'll still be fresh come December.

It's a 24-day countdown with 25 tiny chocolates — what's better than that? Well, the fact that this advent calendar will make you feel good — in more ways than one. As you unwrap your milk, dark or white chocolate minis, read the inside flap to learn about Tony's mission to support cocoa farmers around the world.

To taste See's is to love it, which is why I'll be counting down to Christmas with their advent calendar this year. The century-old confectioner traded their iconic black-and-white boxes for this snow-covered brick house, complete with pull-out drawers for easy candy access. Unwrap 24 of their most beloved sweets, including their Lollypops and creamy truffles.

If mint chocolate treats make your heart sing (loud for all to hear), then Williams Sonoma's famous peppermint bark is probably already a holiday staple in your house. Want to take your love to the next level? For 24 days straight, uncover a bite-size snowman, toy soldier, Christmas tree or Santa.

Get two advent calendars for the price of one. Give each kid their own or let them share and treat the parents to the other one. Young and old will share the same excitement as they unveil a milk chocolate square, aptly wrapped like a present, from December 1 through Christmas Eve.

It'll be a Charlie Brown Christmas this year, that's for sure. Celebrate the cheery season with 24 milk or dark chocolates decked out in foil featuring everyone's favorite Peanuts characters.

This one's made for people who like it hot — hot chocolate, that is. For 24 days, sip on 16 decadent flavors, from a festive peppermint dark hot chocolate to a coconut white chocolate. There's no need to get your tinsel in a tangle if you don't have a velvetiser — just whisk a sachet into milk and heat slowly.

$75 at Hotel Chocolat

What do the stars have in store this holiday season? Nutty prailines, mini chocolate bars and more bite-sized treats. This countdown comes with 26 assorted chocolates — one for each day, then three on December 24.

Vosges Haut-Chocolat takes the cake — er, chocolate — in the packaging department. The decked-out chalet is a beauty to behold, but it's what on the inside that really counts: chocolate gnomes, hazelnut hedgehogs, raspberry hares and tons of other delicious delights. Turn the drawers around and stick them back inside their designated spots to reveal a special message just in time for Christmas.

$60 at Universal Yums

This sugar-filled advent calendar will have kids rockin' around the Christmas tree all December long. There's no chocolate whatsoever, but they'll satisfy their sweet tooth with plenty of marshmallows, candy canes and sour gummies. It's a sweet deal on its own, but you can score free shipping (!) if you pick up a couple of extras to give as gifts to friends and family.
