As we head into the month of July, entertainment junkies will be treated to what looks like a very promising slate of titles hitting your favourite streaming services.
The return of popular teen shows like "Never Have I Ever" (starring Canadas's own Maitreyi Ramakrishnan) and "Outer Banks" are hitting Netflix, while Disney will be releasing two highly anticipated titles — "Black Widow" starring Scarlett Johansson, and "Jungle Cruise" starring Dwayne Johnson and Emily Blunt — available on Disney Plus with Premier Access.

Never Have I Ever Season 2
Devi, played by Mississauga’s Maitreyi Ramakrishnan, is juggling two romances as she tries to decides between #TeamBen and #TeamPaxton. There are new classmates joining the cast, including the new Indian girl in school, played by Megan Suri. Common will also be joining the series, as he woos Devi's mother. Streams July 14.
Fear Street
Netflix will be unveiling three Fear Street films this month with Leigh Janiak’s adaptation of R.L. Stine’s teen novels that focus on malevolent spirits plaguing the town of Shadyside. The first film is "Fear Street 1994," followed by "Fear Street 1978" and "Fear Street 1666." Fans of Netflix shows will notice some familiar faces, including Gillian Jacobs ("Love"), Sadie Sink ("Stranger Things") and Maya Hawke ("Stranger Things"). Trilogy begins July 2.
Gunpowder Milkshake
To protect an 8-year-old girl, a dangerous assassin reunites with her mother and her lethal associates to take down a ruthless crime syndicate and its army of henchmen. The series stars Karen Gillan, Lena Headey and Carla Gugino. Streams July 14.
Outer Banks Season 2
Season 2 tests the crew like never before as the hit series returns for another round of summer adventures. It follows John B and his three best friends, picking up after the events of season 1. The series stars Chase Stokes, Madelyn Cline and Madison Bailey. Streams July 30.

The Tomorrow War
Time travellers arrive from 2051 to deliver an urgent message: 30 years in the future mankind is losing a war against an alien species. In an effort to reclaim planet Earth, soldiers and civilians are enlisted to join the fight and travel to the future. The series stars Chris Pratt, J.K. Simmons and Yvonne Strahovski. Streams July 2.
Making The Cut Season 2
In season two of Making the Cut, Heidi Klum and Tim Gunn return to welcome 10 designers from around the world to compete and become the next global fashion brand. Each week, winning looks will be available to purchase on Amazon and the last designer standing will receive $1 million. Streams July 16.

Black Widow
After several years in the making, fans are finally treated to the origins behind Scarlett Johansson's Black Widow. Natasha must deal with her history as a spy and the broken relationships left in her wake long before she became an Avenger. Debuts in theatres and on Disney Plus with Premier Access on July 9.
Jungle Cruise
Dwayne Johnson and Emily Blunt star in the rollicking thrill-ride titled "Jungle Cruise". Dr. Lily Houghton (Blunt) travels from London, England to the Amazon jungle and enlists the help of Frank Wolff (Johnson) to guide her downriver on La Quila—his ramshackle-but-charming boat. Debuts in theatres and on Disney Plus with Premier Access on July 30.

Judas and the Black Messiah
This Academy Award-winning film is based on real events and tells the story of FBI informant William O'Neal (LaKeith Stanfield) who infiltrates the Illinois Black Panther Party and is tasked with keeping tabs on their charismatic leader, Chairman Fred Hampton (Daniel Kaluuya). The drama follows the betrayal of Fred Hampton, who was assassinated at the age of 21 in 1969. Streams July 2.
Gossip Girl
This much-anticipated reboot of the pop culture classic goes back to the Upper East Side, finding a new generation of New York's private school teens being introduced to social surveillance, nine years after the original blogger’s website went dark. "Gossip Girl" explores just how much social media, and the landscape of New York itself, has changed since. Streams July 8, with a new episode every Thursday.
