Bond girl Olga Kurylenko reveals she tested positive for the coronavirus: ‘Take this seriously’

Olga Kurylenko, who played a Bond girl in 2008’s James Bond film Quantum of Solace, has tested positive for COVID-19.

The 40-year-old actress shared the news Sunday on social media along with a warning to take it seriously.

“Locked up at home after having tested positive for Coronavirus,” she wrote alongside a photo taken looking out a window.”

The post ended with a message to her followers, “Take care of yourself and do take this seriously!”

Milla Jovovich was among those to comment, writing, “Oh my god, feel better lady! We’re praying for you!”

A spokesperson for Kurylenko has not responded to Yahoo Entertainment’s request for further comment.

Kurylenko, who has a 4-year-old son, played Bond girl Camille Montes opposite Daniel Craig in the 22nd Bond film, Quantum of Solace. She has since appeared in 2012’s To the Wonder opposite Ben Affleck, 2013’s Oblivion with Tom Cruise and 2014’s The Water Diviner with Russell Crowe, among others.

News of Kurylenko’s diagnosis follows Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson revealing that they both tested positive for COVID-19 as well. They are in isolation at an Australian hospital but hopeful for a full recovery.
