'I'm skinny as a needle': Britney Spears accuses paparazzi of Photoshopping bikini pics to appear '40 pounds bigger'

Britney Spears wants the public to know she’s still rocking her infamous toned abs.

The “Toxic” singer took to Instagram to cal out photographers who Spears believes, digitally altered pictures of her bikini body.

Hours after paparazzi photos surfaced of a bikini-clad Spears enjoying the sun while on a private boat, the 37-year-old star posted an Instagram story accusing photogs of trying to make her look “bigger.”

“Yesterday I went swimming, I look like I’m 40 pounds bigger than I am today,” she told the camera. “This is how I am right now, and I’m skinny as a needle. You tell me, what is real?”

Spears also shared a separate post to Instagram, addressing her weight once again.

Dressed in low-rise jeans, sunglasses, heels and a midriff-baring top, Spears tells fans, “Good morning. So this is the day after me on my boat ride. Do I look any different today than yesterday?”

The Kentwood, La. native included one of the photos she believes to have been altered to make her appear fuller, followed by a video of her twirling around, showing off a much flatter stomach.

“People always say people or celebrities cheat with their images, but never do they question the paparazzi for selling your pic that they have messed with!!!” Spears wrote. “This was all done within the same 17 hours!”

Despite being upset with the latest batch of bikini photos, a source revealed to E! News that Spears looked happy during her weekend getaway with 25-year-old boyfriend Sam Asghari.

"The first day they chartered a yacht, C'est La Vie, and spent the day out on Biscayne Bay goofing around and having fun," the source shared. "They jumped into the water together and tried all different ways of diving off the decks. Britney was having the best time laughing and being with her man."

The pop superstar’s clap back was met with praise from fans who reminded Spears that they’d have her back through thick or thin.

“We don’t care as long as you’re happy and healthy,” one fan assured the singer.

Another commended Spears on her newfound sass writing, “Good for you! Don’t let the paparazzi bully you. You look amazing.”

Comedian Heather McMahan known for her “Britney 911” coverage of all things Britney Jean weighed in on the issue, “Tell ‘em Brit! Everyone is trying to stir the pot. You look skinny as a needle but we’d love you thicker than a snicker, too. Keep on spreading the truth sister!”
