Another Canadian NHL star has popped the big question to his longtime love.

Mason Marchment, a forward for the Dallas Stars, surprised his girlfriend of more than six years with a proposal last week that gave their fans and friends "the chills."

The 28-year-old from Uxbridge, Ont., and now-fiancée Alexis Durham were on a scenic walk along a trail with their dog Milo when he got down on one knee.

In an Instagram post, Durham shared photos from the special moment.

The first showed Durham walking along the trail, as Marchment kneeled down behind her, and in the second snap she's seen turned around — running back to him with her hands covering her mouth.

Milo also seemed excited.

The two then locked lips after she put the stunning ring on.

"Milo's parents are getting married!" Durham captioned the post.

"A trail walk turned into one of the best days of my life. I love you Mas, can't wait to be your wife."

Their friends and followers were ecstatic to hear the news.

"Been waiting for this for so long. Congrats Lexi, I'm so happy for you," one person commented.

"Congratulations! So happy for the two of you," one wrote, while someone added, "These pictures are stunning," along with heart emojis.

"Just got the chills all over again. Yay!" another added.

Marchment also shared the happy news to his Instagram, captioning the post: "One lucky guy."

Marchment shared a photo of the two posing, sometime after the engagement, and Durham showing the ring off.

The Dallas Stars official account commented: "Congratulations y'all" on his post.

Fellow player Jake Oettinger quipped, "She's stuck with your slice forever!," while NHL alum Wojtek Wolski added, "Congratulations buddy. That's great news."

One Instagram user chimed in with well-wishes.

"The biggest congratulations to an amazing couple! Wish the two of you years and years of happiness!," they wrote.
