Welcome to July, Capricorn. June brought a rush of creativity and a powerful full moon in your sign. There's another Capricorn full moon this month, in addition to a dark new moon in Cancer that's lovely for your relationships.
The first major transit of the month arrives on Tuesday, July 2 when Neptune goes retrograde in Pisces, affecting your 3rd House of Communication. While Neptune retrograde lasts through December, so it is more subtle than the intense, short-term effects of Mercury retrograde, you can expect to undergo a shift regarding how you approach your communication skills and get your message across. Capricorns are notorious for their tough love, but is that really serving you? During the rest of the year, try to approach your conversations with a gentler touch and see how that improves your relationships. On this same date, chatty Mercury moves into your 8th House of Transformation, further encouraging you to evaluate your communication style.
If you're able to bring kindness to the table, then the Cancer new moon on Friday, July 5, which illuminates your 7th House of Partnership, indicates the start of a calm and loving phase to all of your relationships. On this same day, Friday, July 5, the fighter planet Mars creates a sextile with your ruling planet, Saturn, which could help you get what you want at work, making the Cancer new moon exciting on both a professional and personal level.
The Cancer new moon is lovely for your romantic partnerships, but July brings healing to friendships, too. One of July's lessons is that it's all just love. The wise asteroid Pallas ends its retrograde and goes direct in your 11th House of Friendship on Tuesday, July 9, bringing you closer to a friend, likely a relationship in which you both could have done a better job of staying in touch. And, just a few days later, on Thursday, July 11, sweet Venus enters bold Leo and your transformative 8th House, encouraging you to put in the effort to maintain the love.
