Carrie Underwood, 41, says this $14 moisturizer is a no-fuss favorite

Carrie Underwood's style has evolved a lot since winning American Idol nearly 20 years ago, but she's still the down-home Oklahoma girl we first met in the audition room. When she's not on stage covered in sparkles, the 41-year-old, Grammy-winning artist keeps her beauty routine simple (or as she calls it, "lazy"). Last summer while talking to TODAY, Underwood shared that she's a fan of Weleda's Skin Food Cream. "It's not even expensive, but it's easy, you can kind of find it anywhere and it does a good job," she said. The cream — also loved by more than 23,000 Amazon shoppers — is now over 20% off, making it just $14, if you want to give the star-approved product a try.

Underwood called it a "good moisturizer." You can use it on your face and body.

$14 at Amazon

Like Underwood said, the Weleda Skin Food Cream isn't expensive — it regularly costs $18.50 at Amazon. But if you can save $5, even better! The 2.5-ounce bottle is small enough to take in a carry-on if you plan to travel this summer, and according to shoppers, a little goes a long way.

"I'm terrible at regimens and stuff like that," Underwood said. "Every once in a while, like once a year I maybe get to go get a facial or consult somebody and I'm like, 'what is the least amount of things that I can do?'"

The answer might just be using Weleda's Skin Food Cream. If you could only use one moisturizer every day of your life, this might as well be it. Seriously, this stuff is gentle enough to use on your face and body, and even a little dab has ample hydrating abilities. It's packed with real plant-based ingredients like rosemary and chamomile extracts and sunflower and sweet almond oils.

Yahoo shopping writing Britt Ross tried it out herself and said it made her eczema-prone skin glow. "I couldn't believe how quickly my skin went from dragon-like to dewy," she said in her review.

In addition to making your skin look good, you could say this cream is also good for you. It's certified natural by the International Natural and Organic Cosmetics Association. And it doesn't contain any parabens, phthalates, fake fragrances or ingredients you can't pronounce.

Use it in the morning, at night or anytime of day. Just note that there's no sunscreen in it, so if you're heading out for the day, you may want to layer a little bit of SPF over top or mix it in.

In addition to Carrie Underwood, Amazon shoppers laud the Weleda Skin Food Cream in the reviews.

"I can not believe my skin looks this good!" raved one person with sensitive skin. "Believe me when I say you will not recognize yourself in the morning! It was like my skin transformed overnight. It was smooth, poreless, scarring had almost disappeared and any sign of redness was gone. This was after 1 night! My co-workers mentioned I looked like I was glowing!"

"I used to use La Mer as my primary moisturizer and stopped it in favor of Skin Food. That's how good it is!" said a loyal fan. "I have sensitive skin and it calms everything down quickly... I get frequent compliments now that I have 'lovely, glowing skin' which is a first in my life."

In addition to the face, plenty of people say they've used it on their hands, legs and more. "I am 72 and this stuff has made my hands so smooth-looking," said one person. "No, it didn't make them fuller like younger hands are, but oh yes, they are smooth and the skin is so pretty. Love it. I'm now putting it on over my night cream at night."

Speaking to the fragrance, one shopper shared: "The fragrance is great, earthy, slightly medicinal but a nice, subtle smell that fades once applied. My 75-year-old skin has never looked as good over the past 40+ years."

Some shoppers shared that it was just a thicker consistency than they're used to and can sometimes be sticky, but that it didn't clog pores. Some recommended warming it up in your hands before applying to help thin it out or use it exclusively at night on their face.

"This is THICK. Very, very thick, and depending on the temperature, difficult to spread. I usually just take the opportunity to massage my face, but once I get to the thin eye area I swap to a patting motion OR cut it with some Argan oil" said one customer. "It feels sticky but once it sinks in it really isn’t. ... This will make your skin incredibly happy and hydrated, but it will also make you shine like a freshly waxed floor if you lay it on thick during the day. ... All downsides have been 200% worth it for me. My skin is no longer peeling at all."

"It’s an incredibly thick formula comparable to cream cheese," explained a four-star reviewer who uses it as a night cream. "I wish I was kidding, at first I thought maybe the formula was cold or spoiled, but this is how it is. Warming it up in your hands before applying is a must!"

The ultra-rich cream is thick, but it won't clog pores. That said, you can use it anytime of day, but shoppers especially love to use it at night.
