It’s no surprise that some celebrity bloodlines run deep — and this couldn’t be more true for Catherina Zeta-Jones and her lookalike daughter Carys Zeta-Douglas.

Born to Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas, the 15-year-old is celebrity royalty and the spitting image of her mother. Appearing on her first ever magazine cover alongside her mom, Zeta Douglas is featured in Town & Country‘s September “Modern Swan” issue.

The issue features a rising star in the entertainment industry with celebrity parents. While many might assume her famous last name helps her in the industry, she says it actually adds pressure.

“When I was younger I didn’t like the idea of having his name attached, this kind of ‘Douglas Dynasty’ stuff,” she told Town & Country. “I think what bothers me the most is that people think I don’t work hard for it, that I don’t need to work hard for it. That anything I do gets handed to me. When, honestly, I feel like it’s the opposite. I feel I need to constantly prove myself to people – that I am not just my parents’ daughter.”

The 15-year-old’s parents raised both herself and her brother, Dylan, away from public scrutiny and the media. But there were times when the paparazzi would catch up with her — and she credits these encounters for helping herself at a young age.

“I used to get really upset. They [paparazzi] would jump on the subway and sit right in front of me. I was like, six. I was confused,” said Zeta-Douglas. “That’s when I knew, ‘If this is going to be what it’s like, I need to focus on who I really am, and this is going to be something that’s just going to happen, and I can’t do anything about it’.”

When it comes to her celebrity parents, the teen admits when she was younger she didn’t know her dad was one of the most famous faces in Hollywood.

“I thought my dad was a pancake maker. I didn’t know he was an actor,” she said. “Honestly.”

Sylvester Stallone’s offspring Sistine, the Rock’s model daughter Simone and Madonna’s 21-year-old Lourdes are just a few of the other famous faces featured in the pages of Town & Country‘s 2018 Modern Swan issue.
