Celine Dion is addressing speculation about her weight.

Earlier this week, L’Oréal Paris announced the 51-year-old vocal powerhouse as the brand’s new spokeswoman. In an interview with ABC News about the new partnership, Dion assured fans there was no cause for concern for her slim frame.

“It’s true that I’m a little thinner,” Dion said. “Everything’s fine, nothing’s wrong.”

The “My Heart Will Go On” singer attributes her weight loss to ballet, something she reveals she has always loved.

“Dancing has been in my DNA all of my life,” she told People. “It’s a dream. And so hard!... I do this four times a week. People say, ‘She’s a lot thinner’ but I’m working hard. I like to move and [weight loss] comes with it.”

Dion said that instead of thinking about her critics, she chooses instead to focus on the positive, including her new role with L’Oréal Paris which she says was a complete surprise.

“I’m in shock, actually. I never, never expected something like this,” she revealed. “I never really felt confident beauty-wise. I’ve never felt as beautiful, as strong, and I really think the best is yet to come.

Aside from her new beauty campaign, Dion also announced plans for a 2019 world tour, beginning in Quebec City on Sept. 18.

“I was supposed to be at Caesars for a few months and 16 years later, I’m on the road and album coming out,” Dion said. “I cannot feel stronger than I feel here. I’m finding passion, finding my team, in control, in charge, feeling strong and healthy. I take care of myself. I’m happy.”
