Celine Previews First Beauty Range With Harrods Pop-up
LONDON — Celine has unveiled a new, dedicated pop-up space in Harrods for the global pre-launch of its beauty and makeup range, as well as its fall 2024 women’s collection, “La Collection de L’Arc de Triomphe.”
Running until Sept. 24, the first range of products — including Celine’s first satin lipstick shade 01, dubbed Rouge Triomphe, seen in the brand’s latest campaign featuring American actress and model Ever Anderson — will be available at Harrods first at the pop-up as well as at the Celine haute parfumerie space in the department store’s beauty hall, before it goes on sale on the brand’s web site in mid-October.

The makeup range was first teased in its fashion film for the fall 2024 collection earlier this year. Glimpses of the lipstick appear throughout the spot, which feature models striding through numerous tony Paris locations, such as the Musée Bourdelle and Salle Pleyel concert hall.
“’La Collection de L’Arc de Triomphe’ film marks the birth of Celine Beauté, the first cosmetics line in the house’s history,” the brand said in a statement at the time.
Celine Beauté is the brainchild of Celine artistic and image director Hedi Slimane and was born in 2023. It dovetailed from his launch of the Celine haute parfumerie collection, which debuted in 2019.
“The creation of Celine Beauté comes to enrich the cultural roots, promoting a French idea of femininity and allure, distilled over the last five years by Hedi Slimane in his new institutional codes for the Maison Celine,” the house said in the statement.
In the fashion film, models sport La Peau Nue lipstick, part of the full 15-shade Le Rouge Celine collection that will be sold globally starting in 2025.
New beauty collections will be launched by the brand each season with items including lip balms, mascaras, eyeliners, eye pencils, loose powders and nail polishes, among other product categories.
