While Charlize Theron may be one of the biggest Hollywood film stars of our generation, the Oscar winner has always stayed close to her South African roots.

That's why back in 2007, she founded the Charlize Theron Africa Outreach Project (CTAOP) to help combat HIV and promote post-secondary education throughout the nation.

Christian Dior Parfums has been a longtime supporter of the initiative, but for the upcoming year, the actress — who did her first fragrance campaign with the luxury brand in 2004 — plans to take the partnership to the next level.

In 2021, Dior will be funding four-year scholarships for recipients, which will cover all tuition fees, boarding, books, travel, a laptop, as well as individualized mentorship programs.

To celebrate, Dior created the Dior Stands With Women campaign, featuring an all-star team of leading ladies who are all sharing their stories in an effort to encourage others to transform the world.

Actress Yalitza Aparicio, model Leyna Bloom, and photographer Pamela Tulizo are just a few of the women participating.

"They have all strived to have an impact on the world, and have used their voices to inspire other women," Theron shares in the above video. "They've all joined me in passing on this sense of purpose through a cause very dear to my heart that Dior has supported for many years. The CTAOP Youth Leader Scholarship program is helping young South Africans become the leaders of tomorrow."
