Chart shows how dominant Patrick Mahomes has been compared to other QBs in 2017 Draft

Six of the 10 quarterbacks chosen in the 2017 NFL Draft have started at least one game in their professional career, and they’ve won a combined 122 games.

There’s no doubt that the Chiefs’ Patrick Mahomes was the star of that quarterback class. Most NFL fans realize that, but a Chiefs fan on Reddit shared a chart of the career victories and passing touchdowns of those quarterbacks that highlights Mahomes’ excellence.

This was before the “Thursday Night Football” game, so Mitch Trubisky’s record is now 30-25, and the other nine quarterbacks have a 62-90 record as a starter. This includes postseason play.

Additionally, the other nine quarterbacks have thrown for 34,333 yards with 127 interceptions.

Mahomes has 22,967 passing yards and has thrown just 44 interceptions in 76 career games.

Trubisky was the second overall pick by the Chicago Bears, Mahomes was picked 10th overall and the Texans selected Watson 12th.

In the second round, the Browns picked DeShone Kizer. Two quarterbacks were selected in the third round: Davis Webb (Giants) and C.J. Beathard (49ers). The Steelers picked Joshua Dobbs in the fourth round, the Bills picked Nathan Peterman a round later, Brad Kaaya was taken by Detroit in the sixth round and the Broncos selected Chad Kelly in the seventh round.

Of the 10 quarterbacks drafted in 2017, only two remain with the team that selected them: Mahomes and Webb.
