Chick-fil-A Is Now Selling Cups of Pimento Cheese as a Side Instead of Just a Sandwich Topping
Chick-fil-A suggests dipping nuggets and fries in the pimento cheese or spreading it on biscuits, crackers and sandwiches
Chick-fil-A’s new pimento cheese is meant for dipping, spreading and eating by the spoonful.
The fast food chain is selling pimento cheese, which was originally only served as a sandwich topping, by the cup.
As of Sept. 23, the limited-time cheesy side will be available in a side size ($4) or a larger catering size ($6.50) for online and in-store orders.
The idea came from their customers, per a press release. “Chick-fil-A fans made it a thing, so they made it a side,” according to the release.

One sandwich already comes with the cheesy spread. The honey pepper pimento chicken sandwich returned to stores on Aug. 26 after its successful run in 2023. (It was the most-ordered limited-time item when it was available last year, according to the chain.)
The sandwich takes original or spicy chicken and tops it with honey, pimento cheese and pickled jalapeños. It is served on a toasted bun.

Taco Bell has its own cheesy treat for customers.
The Big Cheez-It (16 times the cracker’s usual size!) is back at the Mexican fast food chain as of Sept. 20. Similar to when the brands partnered in June, fans can get a Cheez-It-ified Crunchwrap Supreme and Tostada this run, plus another cheesy option.
Now the Big Cheez-It will be available to purchase solo for $1 so customers can “craft their own cheesy innovations at home,” per a press release.
The Big Cheez-It Crunchwrap Supreme got an upgrade since it was last available. The menu item wraps the usual Crunchwrap ingredients — beef, nacho cheese sauce, lettuce, tomatoes and sour cream — in a grilled flour tortilla. But the menu item ($5.50) now has two Cheez-Its in the middle instead of just one.
The Big Cheez-It Tostada is the same now as it was in June. The $3-item swaps a crispy tostada for the XL Cheez-It and is topped with beef, lettuce, tomatoes and sour cream.
