Cindy Crawford Doesn't Care When She Celebrates Christmas as Long as Her Kids Are There: 'It's About Being Together' (Exclusive)
The supermodel shares son Presley Gerber, 24, and daughter Kaia Gerber, 23, with husband Rande Gerber
Cindy Crawford knows how to make the holidays stress-free with her family of four.
On Sunday, Dec. 15, the supermodel, 58, chatted with PEOPLE at the Celebrity Holiday Bowling with Best Buddies event, where she revealed how she spends the holiday season with husband Rande Gerber and their two kids, son Presley Gerber, 24, and daughter Kaia Gerber, 23.
"We usually end up going away, ever since the kids were little and it was during school holiday," Crawford tells PEOPLE at the Pinz Bowling Center in Studio City, CA. But before they leave home, "we always put up the tree and do a little decorating," she adds.

Since Presley and Kaia have gotten older and left the nest, keeping their holiday traditions alive has become more difficult — even down to the food they eat. "It changes over the years because all of a sudden someone's gluten-free or whatever."
"I think the older I get, the less — I just realize it's about being together without the stress," Crawford shares, adding that the exact date of their Christmas celebration has become less meaningful than the time spent all together.

"So if you end up celebrating your family Christmas on the 26th, that's okay. I try not to get hung up on it has to be a certain way because every year is different than the last year," she continues.
"Fortunately, my kids both usually want to be with us a lot," the proud mom tells PEOPLE. "But also they have partners or whatever, so sometimes you don't get the day. Then we will just say, 'Okay, so we'll do Christmas three days later, or two days before. Again, I don't get hung up on that it has to be on the 25th."
