Costco Shoppers Desperately Want This Food Court Item Added To Menus In The U.S.
The Costco food court has a solid lineup of filling and affordable items, but there is one particular dish that customers desperately want added to the menu.
It all began last month when someone on Reddit shared a photo of the updated food court menu for Costco warehouses in Canada. The Canadian menu shares quite a few similarities with the U.S. one, but there was one particular item that immediately stood out to quite a few people: chicken strips and fries.
"Chicken and fries would be such a hit in the states," said one shocked shopper.
"Why the hell doesn’t Costco USA have french fries or chicken strips?!?! I would kill for that!!" another person added.
As if the chicken strips and fries FOMO wasn't already heavy enough, those who have had the food court item have claimed that it's "the best thing on the menu." In addition to the strips, the Canadian menu also includes poutine, a national dish that's made with French fries, cheese curds, and brown gravy
While poutine being added to food court menus across the U.S. would be a bit of a stretch, Costco shoppers across the border are shocked that food courts in the U.S. don't even have French fries.
"Wait… you guys in the US don’t even have fries??? Wtf," wrote one concerned Redditor.
If Costco is up for a food court switcharoo, there was this bold suggestion: "Bring chicken fingers to the US! Let’s trade the sandwich or chicken pocket thing."
