'Degrassi' star Cassie Steele shows off 'beautiful belly' after announcing pregnancy
Fans are feeling nostalgic as the "Degrassi: Next Generation" actress shared a big milestone.
A "Degrassi: The Next Generation" star casually showed off her pregnant belly for the first time on Instagram.
Cassie Steele, known for playing Manny Santos on the show, took to the app on Sunday with a post on her office-share workspace. What fans weren't expecting, however, was Steele showing off her pregnant belly front-and-centre.
It's the first time the actress had shared her pregnancy with Instagram, though revealing she'd soon become a mom on TikTok back in May.
In the post on Shift Workspaces Bannock, located in Denver, Steele was seen in a tight grey maxi-dress, paired with a beige fringe jacket, posing by the space's bar area and on its balcony.
For some fans who missed the TikTok announcement, the pregnancy reveal came as exciting news.
"OMG all of the 'Degrassi' kids are having babies congratulations!," one fan commented on the post. "You're gonna be a great momma!," they added.
Another responded, "This [though]! They're all getting married and having babies it's so surreal I used to watch all these guys as teens/ early adults in 'Degrassi' and now seeing where life is for them is cute."
Someone wrote, "You have that glow," along with heart-eyes emojis before praising her outfit. "Here's to a safe and healthy pregnancy journey for you! Also please share where you got that jacket from because sis' I am in love with this look."
Another person pointed out, "Look at that beautiful belly! Congrats love!"
The actress first revealed her pregnancy in a May 18 TikTok using a popular filter that "determines" what type of mom the user will be.
Her result was "The MILF," after which Steele added in on-screen text, "I hope this is true because I am pregnant."
Fans rushed to congratulate the soon-to-be mom.
"Omg Cassie, congratulations! You're going to be amazing. Can't wait to see your little bean," one commented on the video.
"Congrats! Can't wait to see what this journey has in store for you," someone chimed in, while another added, "Amazing!.. Motherhood is a wild journey!"
