'Delectable and minty:' Wendy's and Girl Scouts collaborate on Thin Mint-inspired Frosty
With Girl Scout cookie season in full swing, Wendy's plans to offer a limited time offering of their own.
The fast-food chain unveiled the Thin Mints Frosty on Monday, which the fast-food restaurant says combines the flavor profiles of two "iconic fan favorites" for a delectable and minty treat. Wendy's partnered with Girl Scouts of the USA to serve up the newest Frosty flavor at restaurants nationwide starting next month.
"Plus, everyone knows Thin Mints are extra delicious when frozen (Girl Scout’s Honor), so Wendy’s is giving you another delicious way to experience the frozen flavor a Girl Scouts best-seller!" Wendy's said in a news release. "Each bite pairs minty-chocolatey, crumbly, cookie butter texture with the cool, creamy Frosty."
"Wendy’s new Thin Mints Frosty is an amazing tribute to the countless Girl Scouts who have made Thin Mints a household name, all while learning skills like entrepreneurism, goal setting, business ethics and more,” Wendy Lou, chief revenue officer for GSUSA said in a statement.
Here's what to know about the Thin Mints Frosty, including when it will be available.
When will the Thin Mint Frosty be available at Wendy's?
The Thin Mints Frosty will be available for purchase at restaurants nationwide on Friday, Feb. 21. Wendy's customers can get the Thin Mints-inspired swirl in a vanilla or chocolate Frosty.
