Denise Richards explains 'bizarre' “RHOBH” dinner from hell behavior

"I just [don't] remember half the night. It was bizarre," the actress recalled.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast knew something was wrong when Denise Richards' multitude of facial expressions and wild accusations (without actually making an accusation) took over Kyle Richards' weed dinner.

While the Housewives (and fans) believed Richards may have been intoxicated, she recently revealed that a combination of getting sick, a cocktail, and massive nerves is what resulted in this perfect storm of Housewives gold.

Unofficially referred to as the new "dinner from hell" on RHOBH, Kyle's weed-infused dinner went off the rails for a number of cast members, but Richards was the one who brought the circus to town. After hammering away at Erika Jayne for doing something sinister to her during her last season (she never actually said what Jayne did), Richards grabbed her fluffy puff ball jacket and confidently put it on upside down. Dorit Kemsley gently told her the coat was upside down, which prompted Richards to accuse Kemsley of trying to make her look foolish on the show.

Well...

Looking back on that night while being interviewed on the Just B With Bethenny Frankel podcast, Richards admitted to being mortified at what she (and everyone else) saw. "Progressively during the evening, I felt worse and worse," Richards recounted, referring to an oncoming cold or flu. She had taken "regular cough medicine" but "then I just [don't] remember half the night. It was bizarre."

The actress, 52, also recalled knocking back one cocktail prior to her arrival because she was "nervous seeing the women."

Richards insisted that her meal should not have any THC in it, but wondered if booze somehow made its way into her water glass. "Maybe there was a mix-up in the meal or the water or something. I don't know. All I know is when I got home, I was like, 'What? There's something wrong with me,'" she said.

Indeed, Richards' husband Aaron Phypers knew something was off when his wife returned. "I came home, and Aaron was like, 'What is wrong with you?' And I go, 'I don't know.' I've never been like that," she shared.

In any case, Jayne's favorite Bond Girl certainly made a bombshell return to RHOBH — and has continued to bring it in recent episodes, Now that Lisa Rinna has left the show, here's hoping Denise Richards becomes a regular cast member.
