How Donald ‘Drawbertson’ Robertson quietly rose to the top of the fashion world
Recognize these lips? That’s because they’re everywhere! Once mere Instagram doodles by a father of five working as the head of creative development at Bobbi Brown Cosmetics, Toronto-born Donald Robertson – or, as his fans refer to him, “Drawbertson” – is quietly taking over the fashion world, one collaboration at a time.

In the last year and a bit, he’s written a book, hung out with Beyonce and has created fans in fashion icons like Iris Apfel. Aside from his prints, you can buy Drawbertson lipstick, headphones, flip flops, designer clothing and an entire collection of knick knacks – including shopping totes, stickers and iPhone cases – promoting his most popular doodle, Mitford the giraffe.
