Accessing those deals requires an Amazon Prime membership, which you can sign up for today with a 30-day free trial. The sale will be open to shoppers in 19 countries: Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, the United Kingdom, Turkey and the United States.

When is Amazon Prime Big Deal Days?

Amazon said this year's event starts on Tuesday, October 8 and ends on Wednesday, October 9. Last year's event occurred on Tuesday, October 10, and Wednesday, October 11. The sale starts at the crack of dawn on the first day and runs through midnight on the final day.

Do you need an Amazon Prime membership to shop the Prime Big Deal Days sale?

Yes. Similar to Amazon Prime Day, the Prime Big Deal Days sale includes exclusive deals for Amazon Prime members. If you have yet to sign up for Amazon Prime, you'll want to act fast. A standard Amazon Prime membership will run you $14.99 per month, or $139 for a one-year subscription. Meanwhile, students and qualifying government assistance recipients can get a Prime membership for up to 50% off.

How do I sign up for Amazon Prime?

Go to the main Amazon Prime page and click on "Try Prime," then follow the instructions. Note that you need an Amazon account before you can sign up for Prime, but if you don't yet have one, it's easy to set up. Go to Amazon and enter your details to create an account, then add Prime to get the 30-day free trial.

How much is Amazon Prime?

A standard Amazon Prime membership costs $14.99 a month, or $139 annually. If you're a college student, you can get a six-month free trial before paying $7.49 a month (or $69 annually)—which is 50% off the standard price. Those on qualifying government assistance can try Prime Access, which is 53% off Prime, at just $6.99 per month after their 30-day free trial.
