Duchess Meghan is celebrating the upcoming launch of her new lifestyle company, As Ever, and in promo photos for the venture, she has found small ways to honor her loved ones.
On the website’s landing page, there is an aerial photograph of Meghan and her little daughter, Princess Lilibet, running in a grassy field in matching white dresses. In her self-recorded Instagram video announcing the launch, Meghan wears her diamond engagement ring and gold wedding band from husband Prince Harry, as well as a red heart pendant around her neck, and the Cartier Tank watch that once belonged to Princess Diana. And in her latest post, Meghan honors another member of her family who is deeply missed: her late dog, Guy.
The photo shows Meghan pouring honey over a croissant that is set on a beautifully-decorated table in a grassy outdoor space. Also on the table are berries, jam, champagne, and more natural goodies, which As Ever will sell. Meghan wears a cream short-sleeve dress, and her diamond engagement ring, and next to her, peeking at the food, is Guy.
Just last month, Meghan revealed that her beloved dog, who had been with her through the ups and downs of her entire adult life, had died.
“If you followed me on instagram back in the day, you saw a lot of him - and on The Tig too. He was with me at Suits, when I got engaged, (and then married), when I became a mom….he was with me for everything: the quiet, the chaos, the calm, the comfort,” she wrote in an Instagram post featuring a video full of scenes of life with her pup.
Meghan added that viewers will get to see Guy in her new Netflix series, With Love, Meghan (coming out in two weeks, alongside As Ever). “I hope you’ll come to understand why I am so devastated by his loss. I think you may fall a little bit in love too,” she wrote. “I have cried too many tears to count - the type of tears that make you get in the shower with the absurd hope that the running water on your face will somehow make you not feel them, or pretend they’re not there. But they are. And that’s okay too. Thank you for so many years of unconditional love, my sweet Guy. You filled my life in ways you’ll never know ❤️🩹.”
