That much-dreaded winter dullness has finally appeared on my face. The 5 p.m. sunsets, extreme cold, and long days spent indoors have made my complexion lackluster. I’ve been looking for a product that will give me the faux glow of health and vivaciousness, on bare skin and under makeup—and I’ve found it in Iconic London’s Underglow Blurring Primer.

This primer has been in and out of stock for the last few months, and now that it’s back, my advice is to snap it up while you can. It has a silky serum texture that feels hydrating and weightless on the skin. There is a dropper applicator that allows the dispersal of the perfect amount, an important feature since you really need very little to cover your entire face.

I first tried Iconic London’s primer under my makeup. I applied a drop to each cheek and one for my forehead and T-zone. Off the bat, I noticed my foundation glided across my skin like a figure skater on fresh ice. First of all, my makeup looked seamless, not a hint of the brush strokes, pores, or patchiness in sight. Second, and perhaps more importantly, it gave me a lit-from-within-glow. I finally looked alive and not like someone who spends 14 hours a day indoors cross-stitching. The effect was not only noticeable to me; one friend asked if I had gotten a facial because my face looked so pristine. Lastly, my makeup as well as said glow stay in place for 12 hours.

I also use Iconic London’s Underglow Blurring Primer on my bare face. It’s pearlescent and light-catching but without any glitter or sparkle. Worn this way, it gives my skin that coveted  dewiness. Basically, it’s golden-hour sunshine in a bottle.

Head to Amazon to shop Iconic London’s Underglow Blurring Primer while it’s in stock. Your revitalized complexion will thank you (er, me).
