Amazon Prime Day 2020 officially starts tomorrow — but you can already shop these early Prime Day deals in Canada

Amazon Prime Day 2020 is expected to be the biggest shopping event of the year, with more than one million deals to be had across all categories, like tech, clothing, home goods and more. Even though the 48-hour Prime Day shopping event doesn’t officially begin until next week, true deal-seekers and Amazon aficionados know there are lots Prime Day sales you can actually shop right now.

That’s right - despite it’s name, Prime Day 2020 is more like Prime Week, with tons new deals available each day for a full week before the event’s official start on Oct. 13.

Prime Day 2020: How to shop in Canada

To take advantage of Prime Day deals, you need to have an Amazon Prime membership, which costs $79 annually or $8 per month. Prime memberships give you access to free same-day, one-day and two-day shipping on eligible items, free standard shipping, no order minimums for shipping benefits, access to unlimited streaming of movies and TV shows on Prime Video, ad-free streaming on Prime Music and so much more.

However, there are plenty of ways to take advantage of Prime Day deals without purchasing a Prime membership. Amazon offers a generous 30-day trial period to test out the service. New Prime members are eligible for a free trial membership that grants a month’s worth of free two-day shipping, access to Prime Video, and of course, exclusive Prime Day sales.
