When it comes to Halloween, putting together an over-the top beauty look is part of what makes the holiday season so fun. Whether your preferred style is gory or glam, there are several makeup looks to steal this year. And the best part? You don’t even have to be particularly gifted in the DIY makeup department.

Thanks to YouTube and social media, makeup artists often share DIY videos so you can recreate these popular looks from the comfort of your home. While some are intense and require a commitment of a few hours to go all out (which is totally worth it, if you ask me), others are easier to recreate.

Rue in Euphoria
The makeup on Euphoria has been quite a stand-out, even earning an Emmy nod this year. The show's head makeup artist, Doniella Davy revealed that her favourite glitter product is Revlon’s Photo Ready Eye Art, which can be used to recreate Rue's glitter tears.

Cassie in Euphoria
Another standout Euphoria look that’s also easy to recreate is this glittering beauty inspiration. Just like Cassie’s on-screen look, all you need is a set of rhinestone stickers to emulate this elaborate eye look.

Prima Ballerina
Canadian makeup artist Mimi Choi created a special look for the NYX Cosmetics Halloween campaign. This shattered doll look uses cracked illusion and might take a little longer to recreate, but sure packs a punch. All you need is the NYX SFX Face & Body Paint, and you can follow along for her tutorial.

If Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas could pull this Morticia and Gomez Addams look off, you can too. For Morticia, simply opt for a deep matte red lip and use a liquid black eye liner for an elongated eye shape.

The hottest summer anthem was Ariana Grande and Lady Gaga’s new duet “Rain on Me.” You can recreate Grande’s iconic makeup look from the song’s music video, which was created by makeup artist Michael Anthony with a white liquid or gel eyeliner for that futuristic feel.

Natalie Portman’s “Black Swan” character fits the bill when it comes to Halloween, and the look isn’t too difficult to recreate. Dab some white cream paint on your face, and fill in the eyes with a liquid liner. Complete the look with a burgundy lip.

Adorable deer looks have been a go-to for a while now. It’s easy to sport, and just needs a few dabs of spotted white makeup along with a doe headband for a “fawn” time.
