These Elegant (Lab-Grown) Diamond Stud Earrings Instantly Change My Whole Vibe

I've always loved diamonds (basic, I know) and have proudly bought myself several, albeit in extremely tiny carat sizes for budgetary reasons (or because dainty jewelry is in, I'd tell myself). But I have long yearned for a pair of classic diamond studs that are a tad more substantial, as in, actually visible to the naked eye. Finally, thanks to the rise of lab-grown technology (and a smart gifting strategy), I have them.
The round diamond earrings, part of direct-to-consumer brand Grown Brilliance's new Boundless collection, aren't huge — just right, in my opinion, for my fairly small ears and head — but they're still unmissable. With their "invisible" setting, they pack a very sparkly punch. The first time I put them on, while wearing my work-from-home uniform of a T-shirt and sweatpants, it was like I'd transformed into a new woman: still me, but an elevated version who lives in, say, Brentwood and nonchalantly wears diamonds to the gym (i.e. my dream). Thanks to their versatility — complementing both casual and dressy outfits — as well as their light feel and appearance, they may become my new "never-take-off" earrings.
The brand launched in 2021, after founder Akshie Jhaveri left her job at "the largest jewelry retailer in the U.S." to create a more ethical alternative. Its wide range of premade and custom options come from its own vertically integrated labs, allowing for tight control of the environment and product. Lab-grown diamonds haven't yet been embraced by everyone, as many are still unaware of (or just don't care about) the fact that they are molecularly identical to mined ones, but I'm fully on board. Plus, while larger carat sizes might not exactly come cheap, they are far more accessible than most traditional alternatives.
