Eli Tomac Steps In to Replace Injured Chase Sexton on Team USA for MXoN
Following Saturday’s SuperMotocross World Championship, Red Bull KTM Factory Racing’s Chase Sexton sustained injuries during the first moto after a racing incident where he got landed on by Troy Lee Red Bull Gas Gas' Justin Barcia. As a result, Sexton has unfortunately withdrawn from competition.

The impact to his back and shoulder, along with a hand injury, in the SMX Final will rule him out of the upcoming Motocross of Nations (MXoN), now focusing on his recovery and looking ahead to 2025 – heal up soon, Chase!

In his place, Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing’s Eli Tomac has announced he will step up to fill the MXGP class spot for Team USA at the Motocross of Nations in Matterley Basin!
Team USA will consist of Eli Tomac (MXGP), Red Bull KTM Factory Racing's Aaron Plessinger (Open), and Cooper Webb (MX2).
Yamaha and Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing are excited to announce another new addition to Team USA for the upcoming 2024 Monster Energy FIM MXoN race in Matterley Basin, UK.
