EXCLUSIVE: EgonLab Teams With Zadig&Voltaire on Bags, Leather Pieces and Cute Voodoo Dolls
PARIS – Two maverick brands, EgonLab and Zadig & Voltaire, have collaborated on a collection with a leather-fringed, rock ’n’ roll edge that will make its debut Wednesday afternoon at EgonLab’s Paris men’s show.
The collection includes leather tops and pants adorned with roughed-up studs for a “rock-inspired silhouette with esoteric undertones,” according to EgonLab designers Florentin Glémarec and Kévin Nompeix.

They said the mood echoes their fall 2025 “S4LEM” collection. They’ve reworked three Zadig & Voltaire bags, with eyelets and fringes, and the designs will be available at all Zadig & Voltaire flagship stores.
“We’ve taken a luxury approach to the bags, and put an emphasis on quality control, while the style is a real mix between both of our iconoclastic brands,” said Nompeix in an interview.
In addition to the bags they’ve one leather tops, and little leather voodoo dolls, which are sweet looking rather than scary. The collaboration will be available for sale from September.
“It was a great exercise for us. We really wanted to level up the quality and bring Zadig & Voltaire into our luxury world – all with a rock attitude,” he said, adding that the collaboration will also bring benefits to EgonLab, which is known for its leather pieces, distressed denim and cool elegance.
“Working with Zadig & Voltaire allows us to meet another type of client, which is why it’s been such a good exercise for us,” he said, referring to Zadig & Voltaire’s contemporary pricing.
Thierry Gillier, founder of Zadig & Voltaire, said that collaborations are part of his brand’s DNA.
“When it was created in 1997, Zadig & Voltaire welcomed young designers into its collections, reflecting an energy and a spirit of collaboration that continue to define the brand today. This collaboration with EgonLab is, in a way, a return to our roots,” he said.
Gillier added: “When I discovered this young Parisian label, I immediately saw the potential synergies between our two identities. We share that free-spirited, rebellious mindset. It’s our way of paving our own path. We have a deep connection with artists and musicians, a community that inspires us and fuels our creativity. Together, we love to challenge conventions, surprise, provoke thought, and spark desire.”
