For FARM Rio and adidas, sport and style have poetically played together throughout their ten-year history. Through playful prints and patterns and powerful pops of color, the dynamic duo spotlights their spirited design DNA and FARM Rio’s rich Brazilian roots. As they mark a decade in designing collaborative apparel collections, the Brazil-bred brand and adidas debut an all-new athleisure line.
Only releasing in October, the capsule collection from FARM Rio and adidas arrives with style-led sportswear and signature styles from the adidas Originals arsenal, all accented with a feminine flair. The three stripes brand’s iconic motif is seen throughout the line, decorating the midi dresses, the cult-classic Firebird Jackets, biker shorts and sports bras. Bold bursts of color and dynamic designs speak particularly to FARM Rio’s sunny sense of style, that pulls from the electric essence of Brazilian culture.
Paying homage to their headquarters, in Brazil, in their collaborative collection with adidas was a no-brainer for FARM Rio and the accompanying campaign reflects their fondness for the country. In the colorful campaign images, the sports-derived silhouettes of running shorts and cropped hoodies are styled on models and athletes at the beach as they play the beloved Brazilian game “altinha.” Along with the vibrant apparel offerings, accessories also make an appearance in the capsule including soccer balls, backpacks and caps.
Starting at $35 USD, the price point for the FARM Rio and adidas capsule collection is lower than the former’s price point, making it a worthwhile way to become familiar with the brand and Brazilian culture. To shop the collaboration today, visit the official FARM Rio website.
