My New Favorite Fall Dinner Uses Only 3 Ingredients From Trader Joe’s
I'm sure it will become yours, too.
Trader Joe’s has quickly become my favorite grocery store to browse for new items. Some of my new favorite pantry staples have come from my endless trips to the grocery store. And with the autumn season upon us, they’ve rolled out some pretty tasty fall products, like pumpkin sheet cake and pumpkin ice cream. During my most recent trip, I decided to try out some new products for my dinner that night—and it’s safe to say that I’m now hooked.
Easy Trader Joe's 3-Ingredient Dinner
Since I mainly cook for myself, smaller portions are OK—which is why I love Trader Joe’s. It offers pre-packaged, smaller portioned, grab-and-go dinners that I love. Upon stumbling into the aisle, I found a newer product that I had never seen before: the Ricotta & Lemon Zest Ravioli. I’m a pasta lover through and through, and while the flavors reminded me of summer, I immediately thought of the perfect way to pair the ravioli.
I grabbed some butternut squash and the Autumnal Harvest Creamy Pasta Sauce and quickly rushed home. I cooked the ravioli normally by boiling it and let my squash cook in the pan with the sauce. Once my ravioli was done, I threw it in the pan with the sauce and squash over low heat, and let it simmer for about 10 minutes. I topped it with a nice layer of Parmesan cheese and let it get gooey before serving. It did not disappoint!
The lemon cuts through the heavy red sauce right at the end, and it quite literally made my mouth water every time I went in for another bite. And the best part? It only took me about 20 minutes to throw together. If you’re looking for your go-to fall dinner, I highly recommend picking up these products the next time you visit Trader Joe’s.
