Fold a Shirt Perfectly Every Time with This Hack
In all matters related to laundry, there are fewer things more satisfying than a neat stack of perfectly folded shirts. Maybe it's just a simple joy of adulting, knowing that when you pull a shirt from your drawer or suitcase, it's ready to wear. Or maybe you're on a quest to get organized once and for all (for real this time!). No more piles of wrinkled shirts in the laundry room basket—we're grownups here.
We realize there's more than one way to fold a shirt fast, but this is by far our favorite. To master how to fold a shirt, you need three things—a wrinkle-free shirt, a flat surface, and a magazine (preferably the latest copy of Country Living, wink, wink!). Now get to folding!

Lay shirt face down with sleeves out to the sides. Place your magazine in the top half between the shoulders.
Fold left sleeve from the seam over to the right, as shown here.
Fold left sleeve back to the left, meeting the cuff to the bottom of the shirt.
Repeat steps 2 and 3 on the right side and fold bottom of shirt up to meet the shoulders.
Flip over the shirt, and slide out the magazine from the top.
And that is it, my new shirt folding-loving friend! For short-sleeved tees or golf shirts, repeat step two on each side, then fold bottom of the shirt up to meet the shoulders.
