I’m in a constant state of freezing in which the cold always bothers me from December through March—I’m the anti-Elsa, if you will. As an East-Coaster, I immediately put the coat to the test in frigid 25-degree temperatures, and it easily kept me warm outdoors for an extended time. I’m just over 5 feet tall, and the coat covers the entirety of my legs and hits right above my ankles, so cold air has a tough time getting through to my body thanks to the length and the lining.

It also has two side pockets that are perfect for holding my gloves and small items. I must warn you, it does run a bit big, so I recommend sizing down if you want a more fitted look, or stick to your true size if you plan to layer it over bulky sweaters. It’s machine-washable for convenience, and I love that it works with literally anything in my wardrobe. I plan to wear it over my festive New Year’s Eve dress, and I’ve already layered it over jeans and a sweater and to elevate a two-piece jogger set.
