Winter footwear that’s stylish, weatherproof and sustainable? No, it’s not a dream - they’re the brand new Nevasca Boots from Frank and Oak.

Billed as a “high-performance winter boot traditionally crafted in Portugal and built for northern climates,” these boots are made using coffee waste, recycled rubber, and plant-dyed leather, making them some of the most eco-friendly pairs around.

Hand-crafted and ethically made in the city of Porto, the Nevasca Boot is just the latest product in Frank and Oak’s line of sustainable apparel. The brand prides itself on their commitment to equality and socially responsible economic development, as well as working exclusively with partners who share the same core values.

“It’s not just about the durability of the product,” the brand shared on Instagram. “It’s really about all the people that contribute to making something great. This boot represents the end of disposable footwear.”

Available in two colours for both men and women, this unisex style is water-repellent and lined with recycled wool felt for extra warmth, so they’ll be able to keep up with our Canadian winters. You can shop the boot, priced at $249 CAD, below.
