Gabriele Colangelo Fall 2025: Fashion Metamorphosis
Gabriele Colangelo celebrated the beauty in fashion metamorphosis for fall 2025.
“This collection strikes a balance between opposites with both male and feminine details. I use structured and architectural fabrics, but also super soft and gentle materials. It has this rhythm to it, so you are not monotone,” Colangelo said in his showroom overlooking the National Assembly in Paris.

Exploring the beauty of ambiguity and androgyny, his Bermuda pants came with detachable panels serving as half skirts. He also played with volume in asymmetrical cotton capes with leather collars and plackets. Colangelo said the cape was cut in a triangular shape, but when it draped on the body, the femininity instantly came through.
A new fabric he played with this season was the marble-like silk-viscose dévoré. “I am always very interested in the stone surface because it has this beautiful metamorphosis of the texture,” he added.
Colangelo took a straightforward approach to dévoré with some of the pieces – like a slip dress styled under a sheer grey organza hooded dress – but he also offered labour-intensive versions, where the dévoré fabric was cut into fine stripes and neatly embroidered around the body.
Other standouts included a bomber jacket with a funnel collar that’s also a hood, a felted wool cashmere tailored coat with the designer’s signature stitching details around the pockets, and a boxy leather jacket with exaggerated shoulders.
