Whether it’s sports season or cold and flu season, there’s always a reason to have a few bottles of Gatorade on hand. The electrolyte replacement beverage helps replenish fluids and nutrients lost during exercise (or illness), and comes in a range of exciting flavors, making it an easy choice for anyone craving a refreshing drink. Surprisingly, you can also use it to make 3-ingredient Gatorade bread.

This year, Gatorade celebrates its 60th birthday and is kicking off the festivities by bringing back a popular tropical-inspired flavor, but only for a limited time.

Gatorade Brought Back Aqua Blast Thirst Quencher

Gatorade’s Aqua Blast Thirst Quencher is back on shelves and now more widely available. The vibrant sports drink was previously sold at Ampm convenience stores but this time shoppers can find it at Walmart. With this launch, it’s sporting a revamped design, featuring a blue color scheme and ocean-inspired graphics. The original design looked similar to Gatorade’s permanent lineup, however, the updated look matches more closely with the style of the brand’s other limited-edition products.

Instagram user @teamsupernovafb shared the news and the comment section is already filled with rave reviews and fans who can’t wait to try it.

“It’s by far the smoothest tasting Gatorade I’ve ever had,” wrote one user. “This looks so scrumdiddlyumptious and refreshing. Imagine this being in the fridge for 10 hours, then you crack it open at like 2 a.m.,” added another.

Many said Gatorade Aqua Blast has a tropical taste with hints of pineapple and mango, and a few even compared it to a popular fast food soda. “I’ve been told it’s supposed to be like Baja Blast,” said one commenter.

One Redditor described Aqua Blast as a mash-up of two other Gatorade flavors. “Tastes as if Icy Charge and Arctic Blitz had a baby. More so, Icy Charge though,” they wrote.

It’s unclear how long this limited-edition drink will stick around, but fans are already saying they wish it was a permanent fixture. Gatorade Aqua Blast is currently available exclusively at Walmart in 28-ounce bottles, and you’ll be able to find it at Casey’s General Store starting in March. So, next time you’re enjoying a slice of Casey’s pizza (I recommend the breakfast pizza variety), don’t forget to grab an ice-cold Gatorade to wash it down.
