Gavin and Stacey cast don classic costumes as filming begins for final episode
Gavin and Stacey stars donned their classic costumes as they were pictured on set at Barry Island for “one last time” earlier this week.
The BBC announced on Monday 2 September that filming had got under way for the sitcom’s last episode, which will air on Christmas Day this year.
Co-creator James Corden, who plays Smithy in the series, posted a photo to Instagram on Tuesday that appeared to show Joanna Page and Ruth Jones facing away from the camera in front of O’Shea’s Fish & Chip Cafe in character as Stacey and Nessa.
Zios Gelateria Barry also shared footage of the cast behind the counter of their shop in costume.
