Netflix’s breakout true crime documentary, Girl in the Picture, details the disturbing and twisted story of Franklin Delano Floyd, who was put on death row for murder and kidnapping. But that wasn't all he did. Floyd also abducted a young girl named Suzanne Marie Sevakis, the daughter of his former wife, and raised her as his own.
Here's the long and short of it: Floyd married Suzanne’s mom, Sandi Chipman, a mother of four, and later kidnapped her children. He dropped two of the kids at an orphanage and kept Suzanne, who he renamed “Sharon Marshall" and then "Tonya Hughes," the documentary explained. According to the documentary, Cliff separated from Sandi after he returned from the Vietnam War and was not able to help parent with his wife Sandra.
Who is Sandi Chipman?
