Gleb Savchenko Accuses Ex Elena Samodanova of Cheating as She Threatens to "Release Everyone's Names"
DWTS pro Gleb Savchenko has accused his estranged wife Elena Samodanova of cheating, jealousy, and being "mentally abusive."
Elena's team responded to his claims saying "he should perhaps watch what he says before Elena decides to meet him at his level and release everyone’s names."
Hello everyone who continues to be invested in WTF is going on with this never-ending DWTS drama. As a reminder, pro partner Gleb Savchenko announced his split from his wife of 14 years Elena Samodanova a few weeks back, everyone (incorrectly) assumed he was having an affair with Chrishell Stause, Elena publicly accused him of "ongoing infidelity and a recent inappropriate relationship," and then Gleb went on vacation with his new girlfriend Cassie.
It's been a whole thing, and now Gleb is out here absolutely going off about his ex (who just filed for divorce, FYI), claiming that he never once cheated on her, and that she's the one who's been allegedly unfaithful.
"I saw her on cameras around the house," he told Entertainment Tonight, in part. "She would pull out, park her car in front of the house, completely change, put on heels and leave."
Gleb also accused Elena of having an ongoing affair with former DWTS star Vlad Kvartin, and said "We've had problems for years. I was in a mentally abusive, jealous relationship. I always said to myself, 'Listen, she's the mother of your kids, and you love her, just make it work for your kids.'"
But wait, there's more, ugh. Gleb also accused Elena of ongoing jealousy ("She always wanted to be on every single red carpet with me, always wanted to do every single interview") and said there's no truth to cheating rumors about him. "The thing is, I've never actually cheated on her. Never, ever, ever," he said. "This whole thing, it was her trying to set it up. All of those partners that I danced with, it might have looked on TV like [it was something more], but it never was the case."
In response to Gleb's interview, Elena's team gave a statement to Entertainment Tonight, saying in part, "It's no secret that Gleb has had affairs with former dance partners -- and who knows who else. Playing the victim is gross negligence on his part and he should perhaps watch what he says before Elena decides to meet him at his level and release everyone’s names."
