“This smells like my vagina” might not be a thought that comes to mind when smelling a candle, but Gwyneth Paltrow is no average woman.
Never one to shy away from controversy, the 47-year-old actress and lifestyle entrepreneur caused an online sensation when she revealed the name of her latest exclusive scented candle when it was first released back in January.
“It sort of started as a joke," Paltrow told Seth Meyers in an interview earlier this year, explaining that she had met with a fragrance expert when crafting her own unique scents. "I smelled this beautiful thing, and I was like, 'This smells like my vagina!'"

"I was kidding, obviously," she added. "So then it actually became kind of a funny thing, where it was a) really funny to us, but also a little bit punk rock."
The candle sold out in minutes after its initial release on Paltrow’s website Goop, but for those who are interested in giving it a try, you’re in luck because it’s now back in stock.

According to the website, the exclusive Heretic x goop “This Smells Like My Vagina” candle features notes of geranium, citrusy bergamot, and cedar absolutes juxtaposed with Damask rose ambrette seed “to put us in mind of fantasy, seduction, and a sophisticated warmth.”
The restock also comes with a sequel to the controversial candle, called “This Smells Like My Orgasm.”

Featuring a blend of tart grapefruit, neroli, and ripe cassis berries blended with gunpowder tea and Turkish rose absolutes, the candle is billed as “a scent that’s sexy, surprising, and wildly addictive.”
If it’s anything like the original scent, you can bet that the “orgasm” candle will sell out quickly. Each scent is available to purchase for $106, but we’ll let you be the judge of what they actually smell like.
